Social goals
- Local: Support local businesses and buy local wherever possible
- Local: Actively engage with and support local charities and organisations which address social and environmental improvements
- Ethical: buy products and services from charities, 3rd sector organisations and ethical companies wherever possible
- Everyone: Take action to improve our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and be proud to be seen doing so
Environmental Goals
- Climate: Minimise the end to end environmental impact of Hive, our services and our staff
- Biodiversity: Support biodiversity and conservation efforts
- Advocacy: Advocate for the climate, biodiversity and nature
We will actively seek to work with clients who share these goals and contribute towards them.
These are our key goals - however, anything contributing to one of the 2015 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) counts!
Social & Environmental outsourced staffing policy
We require all our outsourced staffing providers to:
- Have policies contributing to at least 3 of these goals (or other 2015 SDG) or be an existing B-Corporation
- Be an accredited Living Wage Employer, or to otherwise prove all their employees are paid at least the Real Living Wage.
